We were so excited to welcome back our Open Gardens and Flower Festival event to Flowton on the weekend of 17-18 June 2023. The weekend raised a staggering £6,168.18 for our charities more than 25% then in 2019 !
Known locally as Flowton in Flower, the event was last held in 2019 due to the pandemic – have a look at the pictures below or click here to see what was on offer.
Opening times:
Flower Festival in St. Mary’s church: 11am – 5pm
Gardens open: 12noon – 5pm
Prices:
Admission: £5, with accompanying children free. Tickets were available on the day from the Church and allowed entry to gardens and the flower festival.
Card payments, Apple Pay and Google Pay accepted in the church for tickets and lunches/cream teas. Cash for stalls and garden sales please.
All proceeds went to Flowton Church Fabric Fund for repairs to the church, and to Families in Need Ipswich (FIND), our local food and furniture bank.

- Plant sales and gardening books
- Local history and crafts
- Cake stall
Food and drink:
Lunches, cream teas and refreshments were available in St. Mary’s churchyard in the centre of the village.
